Teaching Research Center
1969
William Benton, Senator/UN Ambassador, and Frank B. Gibney agreed to donate $1 million through Britannica to create a language education center and a non-profit foundation to improve language education in Korea, and U. S. Vice President Robert Humphrey joined the initiative upon his visit to Korea.
1971
Held the first board meeting of the Language Teaching Research Center as an education foundation, and earned approval from the Ministry of Education and the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
1972
LTRC administered the First Selection Examination for the study-abroad-in-America program, awarded Scholarship Grant, and planned Korean Language Curriculum. selected as the official language Institute for Overseas Dispatched Trainees from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
1975-1985

Published Korean textbooks and established the Korean Language Research Department

Published "Study on Korean Children's English Development."

Started English education for elementary school teachers

Significantly contributed to laying the foundation of English education for children in Korea.
1986-2001

Carried out various language education-related projects.

Awarded many appreciation plaques for English education for elementary school teachers, language training at overseas universities, and collaborations with English educational institutions.
